ABOUT ME!
Growing up.
I grew up in a household filled with imagination, creativity, music, and art. I was head-banging to Dishwalla, Billy Joel, and Journey before I could even sing the alphabet. Music, dance, film, and theatre have always held this certain power to me that I can find nowhere else. I've always had an active imagination so writing stories and playing dress-up was a daily occurrence throughout my childhood.

My family collects movies, so I've always been inspired by many different genres and styles of acting. One of my earlier memories I have of acting is six-year-old me acting out all of the "Shelley Duvall Fairytale Theater" DVDs with my sister. Every time we picked our characters and got into costume, I would light up. I'd never felt more like myself when I was acting out a story, so there was no choice but to stick with it.

My first brush with performance was when I started taking dance classes at two years old. I started with ballet and fell in love with being on stage. The moment that solidified my need to be a storyteller, was when I was seven years old and our ballet company was doing variations from the ballet, Coppélia. The girls in my class and I had to act like the dolls for the older girls, and I will never forget how much I looked up to the older ballerinas as I watched them dance. I loved sharing a stage with them, and I loved being able to embody and portray a character. The ability to create characters, worlds, and stories through performance and collaboration is what I do best and believe in most.

The actor.

I am a New York-based actor, and a recent graduate from the University at Albany. I have a BA in Theatre with minors in Musical Theatre and Film Studies.

Currently, I am working as a Musical Theatre Instructor teaching dance, acting, and singing at the Creative Dance Arts Studio in Clifton Park, NY. I am, also, a part of two shows now that I am so excited about. First, I am in a concert version of Guys and Dolls with Not So Common Players in Clifton Park as Agatha. With Schenectady Light Opera, I am playing Crystal and in the Dance Ensemble in The Wedding Singer. Another current and ongoing job I have is working as a Standardized Patient for UAlbany's School of Social Welfare's Graduate Program. All of these jobs have made me grow in all different ways and I continue to learn so much from each of them.

Recently, I was under contract choreographing the musical Heathers with the UAlbany Musical Theatre Association. Performances were on December 2nd and 3rd and we had a sold-out run! This past summer, I was in an outdoor production with the Not So Common Players as a featured dancer in Nice Work If You Can Get It under the direction of Stephen Foust. Also, I continued my work as a standardized patient for the graduate students of the School of Social Welfare at UAlbany and will be working on case studies and doing simulations with them.

When I'm not working on a new monologue or picking a 32-bar cut, I'm often found crafting or painting. I am, also, proficient in sewing, drawing, and decorating for special events. I love working with children, too, as I have spent the past five years as a teacher’s assistant at an integrated preschool for neurotypical and special needs children. My crafting skills come in handy with the kids, as well, and I take pride in my precise cutting skills and ability to make adorable bulletin boards. I'm sure these kids have taught me more than I've taught them. I love being able to be a child at heart and keep a sense of play with them; I genuinely believe it’s helped me as an actor.

I am a polished, dedicated performer who is always prepared to learn and create. I am looking forward to a long career on the stage and on screen doing what I love. Thank you for visiting my page, and feel free to reach out to get in contact with me!
